Job Description

We are currently seeking vibrant School Tour Leaders and School Tour Supervisors to join our team for our 2021 Season at The Crystal Maze. The ideal candidate will be responsible, reliable and enthusiastic.

​

School Tour Leader Requirements:

  • Must be over 17 years old.

  • A high level of fitness to run around The Crystal Maze for extended periods.

  • Ability to adhere to code of behavior and prescribed itinerary.

  • Excellent communication skills with a knack for adapting to the age of your audience.

  • Personable, humorous disposition.

  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and improvisational skills.

 

School Tour Supervisor Requirements

  • All of the above.

  • Must be over 18 years old.

  • Prior experience with children is essential.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Learn over 150 challenges.

  • Familiarizing yourself with The Crystal Maze

  • Listen to the brief each day.

  • Greet and welcome children to the tour.

  • Take charge of your designated group and ensuring they have a safe, fun experience at The Crystal Maze.

  • Show integrity and professionalism in the workplace.

  • Fulfill your duties in a friendly and collaborative manner.

  • Be alert and proactive with jobs that need to be done, think on your feet and put safety first.

  • Show enthusiasm to learn and professionalism in your work.

  • Show courtesy and respect toward colleagues, children, and teachers.

  • Use common sense at all times.

 

Interviews:

Interviews will be held on Saturday 23rd April 2022. This will be in a group setting to get to know candidates and encourage personalities to emerge. No confidential information will be shared with other applicants. Complete the application form below to apply.

 

All applicants must be Garda vetted before they can be considered for a position so everyone will need to bring 2 forms of ID and ensure they have all their personal information to hand to fill out the Garda Vetting Form. You can print and complete this form in advance or forms will be provided on interview day. (Photocopies cannot be accepted) Click here to download the Garda Vetting Form. ​​Induction Training:

The successful candidates will be invited to induction training on Monday 2nd May 2022. This in-depth training will cover all the challenges and how to manage your group.
